The cat has an elevated philosophical consciousness. It is pure being. What does this mean?
Being is. It is not the end state of a process, or a teleological outcome, or an intention or an aim.
It is paradoxical. While at bottom unexplainable, it is in harmony with what is, because it is what is. Harmony is in being with being.
The cat does not bother with resistance. It is focused on being. No monkey mind.
Being cannot be judged. Good and evil, justice and injustice are social regulatory concepts filled in by contingent conceptions that play social functions relative to a social context or language game. They are irrelevant to being.
One may act disharmoniously with being. This creates a rupture in being which is felt as unpleasant sensations (as the moral empiricist would put it) because we too are the being that has been ruptured by the act. The subject and object is mirrored in being.
Our narratives and thoughts blind us to this. This brings us to the cat. The cat does not theorise "ideas", but acts based on the unity of being. It is highly skilled in this. Often it does not act at all. Being does not require it to.
The rupture could be reduced by acting harmoniously with being, or worsened by continuing to act disharmoniously with being.
A lot of the problems of the 20th century were caused by fixed ideologies and ideas, the narratives of various political "isms" that blinded men to being. A lot of suffering is also caused by what Sartre calls "bad faith", mistaken conceptions of self, that are oblivious to being or attempt to override it.
A cat is immune to such stupidities of man. Being and adaptive response in line with being is all it needs.
